Primark Haul

I've already been to Primark when I was in London but I honestly didn't buy anything. They had Sale at that point and all things were thrown around, lying on the floor and being walked on. Really not my type of shopping, ahaha. A friend of mine told me about people she knows who drove to the next Primark to go shopping! She was so excited about that, that she planned our (me plus 4 friends) trip to Primark on December 30th.
And just so that you know: The nearest Primark is a 2 hour drive to the next country!
At 8 o'clock in the morning  we went off:
bestie is driving! :)
and there's us chilling in the back seats:

After finding a parking lot we went straight to Primark. And all the people we saw on our way had one or two of the biggest paper bags I have ever seen. All labeled with the Primark inscript.
It was only half past 10 and there were already plenty of people! And then the shopping started.
I was a bit dissapointed because, yes there were some really cool clothes, but no, not in my size. :(
I still managed to find things that I liked. I waited together with my friend in the queue for the changing rooms. For 45 (!!!) minutes! But we didn't care. We had so much time until we had to go back.
I bought some really cute socks and gloves. And I love my new backpack for only 5€!

I'm glad there isn't any piece that I regret buying. Those aren't all things to go out with, haha. But I love them anyway! Primark was a pretty fun trip together with my friends. Especially because this was the first time we drove somewhere with the car all on our own. If you're wondering why: It's because where I live you can only drive alone at 18.
Like I said Primark was fun but I doubt that I would ever prefer it to my favourite shops like Brandy Melville or Zara (amd many more!! :D ).
See you hopefully next Saturday! School starts on Tuesday and I'm afraid I don't have time for a big blogpost but I'll go for it and try my best. See you then xoxo

Pancake Breakfast

Merry Christmas everyone! And a wonderful day to the people who don't celebrate!
How could you start Christmas day better than with a pancake breakfast?

For me at least pancake breakfasts are rare and only held on special days. And if anyone wants to make pancakes tomorrow or at the next birthday or any other time: Here's my very all time favourite pancake recipe:

Please let me know if you try any of these! I'd love to hear about your results. Or maybe if you have a different recipe then it would be a pleasure for me to try it!

For my next blogpost I thought about finally doing my first fashion related post. I'm going to Primark probably on 30th of December which is really exciting because I've never been to Primark in my own country. We only have two or three of their stores here. After going there I wanna do a Haul-Lookbook.
So follow me on bloglovin to keep updated about my next blogpost!

Have a merry Christmas! See you soon xoxoxx

Late Night Thoughts

My exams are finally over. I actually thought they will never end in the beginning but looking back I'm really glad I made it.
Now I'm in my room, relaxing and listening to music. Majestic Casual has always been one of my favourite (Remix-) Channel on Youtube. But this one is my current favourite of them:

Listening to this song got me thinking. About the future, the present and things I could do. Things to make other people smile or to make a day special. Stepping out of your comfort zone is probably the catchword. I actually have a "Things before I die" Bucketlist and I really love it. It helps me not to forget what life can bring up to me when I have low time which means laying in bed all day and worrying about the future. Nonetheless I love bucketlists, I feel like making a list for little things I could do. Just like buying a bouquet of flowers and handing one flower to every person that looks like he needs some appreciation. Or talking to some complete stranger. I think these times people are not kind enough to each other. Not like everybody hates each other or so. That's not what I mean. More like the behaviour when everyone is walking on the street in their own little world. This world may be in their head or maybe in their mobile phone.
But don't we all ever imagine scenes like strangers giving us flowers? Why not be this stranger? I feel like talking cliche but this idea of giving kindness really appeals to me. You could also as well make other people laugh in some way. Or kid them. I've never stopped thinking about the "putting pudding in a mayo jar and eating it in public"-story.
Those are just some thoughts that came to my mind during the last minutes and I felt like sharing these. And maybe I inspired someone.
Have a goodnight! xxx

Check In

I started my blog on the 7th of December. It took me some time until I eventually was pleased with the layout. Now I feel prepared for starting to post! I'm really excited and curious.
I can't exactly tell you what my blog posts will be about but I think I'll focus on fashion and lifestyle as my main topics. Let's just see where life takes me so I can blog about it.
Let me tell you some things about me: My name is Laila and I'm 17 years old.
I have a cat about whom I may tell you more about in some blogpost! Also I'm in my last year of school which means I'll finish school some time between May and June 2014 which is absolutely exciting to me.
I love taking pictures, dancing, watching movies and series, writing, meeting friends and traveling.
I hope you enjoy my blog and maybe give it a follow on bloglovin to keep updated!

see you soon! xxx
